Clawed Demo Walkthrough: Museum, Tunnel and Puzzle Route

The Clawed Demo is a survival-horror route through the Prehistoria dinosaur park. The reliable way to progress is to read the current objective, search the named landmark, collect the key or clue, and return to the locked route. It is not safe to copy an old video step for step because the developer moved the South Access Tunnel entrance and South Tunnel Key during Demo updates.

Use this order as a spoiler-light checklist:

1. Complete the opening arrival sequence and read the first usable notes.
2. Explore the central park and Staff Center rather than running straight into every enclosure.
3. Follow the Museum Key guide when the museum route blocks progress.
4. Search for the current South Tunnel Key location only after checking the updated objective.
5. Use the map route to connect the park landmarks and tunnel entrance.

Step 1 — Establish your landmarks

The Demo’s important route landmarks include Main Street, the museum, Staff Center and the South Access Tunnel. The developer’s patch notes refer to the museum, Main Street, the tunnel entry, and several puzzle progression areas, so these are better navigation anchors than vague directions such as “go left from spawn.”

When you enter a new area, take a moment to identify:

• the nearest named building;
• the last locked door or gate;
• any note, terminal, phone, or sign that can be read;
• a safe place where teammates can regroup.

Step 2 — Solve the museum block

The Museum Key is the first concrete location question many Demo players encounter. Community reports place it around the Staff Center and medical-facility side of the Prehistoria area. Use the dedicated Museum Key page for the current landmark sequence and the caveat about patch-sensitive details.

Do not confuse a nearby display or prop with the actual key interaction. If the prompt does not appear, move around the object, check your inventory, and confirm that the current objective has advanced.

Step 3 — Find the South Access Tunnel

The official Road to Release Demo patch notes explicitly say that the South Access Tunnel entry was relocated and the South Tunnel Key was moved to an easier-to-find position. That means the current route should be based on the newest Demo rather than a launch video from months earlier.

If you cannot find the tunnel:

1. Re-read the objective.
2. Return to the arrival or central park landmarks.
3. Check the updated South Tunnel Key guide.
4. Check whether your group is following a video recorded before the relocation patch.

Step 4 — Handle co-op progression

Steam lists online co-op, and the store description specifically presents fighting, exploration and puzzle solving as shared activities. The host should keep the group together around the current objective so that an item is not carried into a different area before everyone has seen the clue.

What this walkthrough does not claim

The full-game map and puzzles are not the same as the Demo. In a developer Q&A, Flatrock Games said the Demo used an older version of the park and that Demo progress would not carry over to the full game. Treat the Demo route as a Demo route, not as a complete launch walkthrough.
