Clawed Classic Mode vs Survival Mode Explained

The difference

Steam describes two distinct Clawed experiences:

• Classic Mode — the original Clawed survival-horror experience.
• Survival Mode — adds hunger, thirst, dynamic weather, a complete day/night cycle, and random dinosaur encounters while you complete the mission.

Which mode should you start with?

Choose Classic Mode if your goal is to learn the story route, keys, museum, and tunnel progression. It gives you fewer survival systems to manage while you learn the park.

Choose Survival Mode if you want the park to behave more like a long-form survival challenge. Track supplies and visibility as well as the route itself, and expect random encounters to change the pace of exploration.

What is not confirmed here

The Steam listing names the added Survival systems but does not publish a complete hunger rate, thirst rate, weather table, or encounter schedule. This guide does not invent those numbers. We will update them only after a reliable launch source or repeatable in-game testing is available.
